Distributed Elements is a continuation of decades of research and
development in very high power broadband RF and microwave passive
components. Our engineers and
consultants have designed power combiners, dividers, split-biners,
hybrid couplers, filters, and specialty adapters deployed
in some of the largest RF and microwave amplifiers on earth, for military and
commercial EMC test applications, naval- and flight-based systems, and phased
arrays. We have designed and produced
custom integrations, reducing system loss and cost beyond any modular
approach. In cases where the physical
size of the system is large, such as numerous 19” racks, we have developed
combining systems which reduce cabling length and system loss to offer best
overall cost.
Our primary work is in multi-octave and decade bands from 50 MHz to 40
GHz, in coaxial, waveguide, double-ridge waveguide, and various planar
technologies. We employ Dassault SIMULIA
CST Studio Suite 3D simulation in all designs, for EM simulation, thermal
simulation, voltage breakdown, tolerance and yield analysis, for first-turn
success in nearly every case. Our product specifications include accurate
de-rating guides for mounting temperature, altitude, and load VSWR, based on a
combination of accurate 3D simulation and measured data, checked against
decades of experience in the design and production of high power RF and
microwave amplifier systems.
The majority of our product design is driven by custom request. Please contact us
with a description of your requirement.
Our design, fabrication, and manufacturing is 100% in the USA.
